Wheat Straw Thatched Roof – Wimborne, Dorset
We fully re-thatched this cottage in Wimborne, Dorset. The property is grade 2 listed so material choice is important, as well as retaining the original style. We used N59 wheat straw sourced from a farm in Devon and hazel spars provided by a local woodsman.
